Dr. Angela Clendenin is a faculty member in the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at the Texas A&M School of Public Health. She has developed undergraduate courses in public health emergency preparedness and an international study abroad program in Germany examining transboundary consequences of climate and conflict-related disasters. Additionally, she teaches a graduate course in Disaster Epidemiology.
Clendenin’s experience with disasters is not limited to the classroom. She serves as the PIO for the Texas A&M Veterinary Emergency Team (VET) and has deployed with the team in response to a fertilizer plant explosion, river flooding, and most recently, Hurricane Harvey.
